Meet the Author

Andrea Utasy Clark

Mom and lawyer by day, writer and yogi by night, Andrea finds inspiration in her lively, fun-loving and book-devouring two-year old. The story of Lyle came to be at bedtime one night, free-styling silly modern takes on classic nursery rhyme melodies. Andrea was born and raised in California by her Singaporean mom and Hungarian dad, lived in Singapore for 13 years and has recently relocated to Abu Dhabi.

Meet the Illustrator

Sharon Lim Sautarel

Sharon is a Paris-based Graphic Designer and Illustrator. From children’s clothes designing to logo branding, illustration to photography, Sharon has for more than two decades been in love with the arts. Bringing Lyle to life has been such a fun adventure which also was inspired by the imaginary characters Sharon loves to draw and create with her daughters. Sharon’s work today consists of photography to chalk art lettering in Parisian cafés to illustration projects.
